We make living with Parkinson's disease easier at home.
When Parkinson's disease robs individuals of their ability to control their movements, MetroCare Hawaii, LLC can make life easier at home. Even as symptoms progress, our Caregiver can helo extend the quality of life of people with Parkinson's - while also providing respite for the family.
Hourly to 24/7 live-in care Our Caregivers provide assistance at any stage of the disease - helping accomplish tasks as needed to allow the people with Parkinson's to function as independently as possible. We help with the following:
- Transportation and errands
- Meal preparation and good nutrition
- Personal hygiene, bathing and dressing
- Medication reminders
- Companionship and activities
- Emotional support for patient and family
Maintaining physical activity
Often our Caregiver can help individuals maximize and maintain existing function as long as possible by working with our client's physical therapist to aid in the practicing exercises. Our Caregivers can also help flexibility through massage or by encouraging others of movement.
